Your Kids and Worship
Of course, all of God's children - no matter what age - are
welcome to participate as they are able in our worship service.
We understand, however, that we experience faith differently and have very
different skills and abilities at different stages of our life. For that reason,
we also offer worship experiences tailored to meet the needs of our younger
members.
Nursery care for children from birth to 5 years old is provided each Sunday for
your convenience. Janie Hernandez, our licensed Mother’s Day Out Director,
supervises our nursery between 8 a.m. - 12 noon each Sunday.
During the 10:30 a.m. service, Children 4 years old through 2nd grade may
participate in our Shepherd's Flock program led by our children's ministry staff
and volunteers. The children process out at the beginning of the service to
gather for their own time of worship, teaching and crafts then rejoin their
parents in the sanctuary in time to receive communion or a blessing toward the
end of the service.
