The purpose of this ministry is to bring comfort to any child or adult struggling with physical, emotional, or spiritual challenges. We do this through volunteer-made blankets which are prayed over by the members of St Catherine’s, blessed by our Rector and distributed to those who are ill, suffering from grief or pain or enduring mental health challenges. The blankets are prepared and finished by parishioners. Anyone who can tie a knot and say a prayer is invited to participate in this ministry. As we do not charge for the blankets we welcome donations in any amount to offset the cost of the fabric and we gratefully accept fleece material.
