Daughters of the King

WHO WE ARE

Daughters of the King is a ministry empowered by the Holy Spirit to deepen our relationship with God through prayer, and to help us focus on our walk with Jesus, making him known to others by joyously proclaiming our faith.

The Order of the Daughters of the King was founded in 1885 in the Anglican tradition. Daughters pledge to spread Christ’s kingdom and to strengthen the spiritual life of their parish through a life-long commitment to prayer, service and evangelism.

Here, at St Catherine, we live out our call to prayer, service, and evangelism by actively supporting the vision and ministry of the Vestry, as led by Father Andrew. At our meetings we share spiritual insights from scripture, and plan and carry out ministry projects. We also enjoy ourselves, and we welcome all women to participate with us to see if you might like to join the Order with us.

Daughters of the King regularly meets the first Sunday of the month at 12:00 in the conference room at St Catherine. For more information, contact Jane Whitney, cjanego7@gmail.com.
